"Our experience was great from the start. After moving to London with our dog Blu and then having to travel only a few weeks after, we were worried about leaving her after so much change. Jana did an amazing job watching Blu and did all the walks required to keep her a happy girl! We received updates and photos every day and it was nice to know how great she was doing. Jana is a very calming influence on Blu and she was in a really good place on our return and so was our house! Neat and tidy, with nothing to do. Jana now does walks with Blu twice a week and Blu is so happy to see her! I would highly recommend The Furry Dogmother, a very professional and trustworthy service.

“Having had a previous bad experience boarding our dog with kennels we were apprehensive at the prospect of leaving our beloved miniature dachshund again. However we needn’t have been as Liz was completely wonderful from start to finish. Honest and friendly, I had no reservations about leaving Sausage with her after our meeting and, most importantly, Sausage loved Liz and had a great time while we were away. It was so lovely to come home to a happy pup! He was so much happier than when he’s been taken somewhere else and had his routine disturbed. Liz sent regular updates and pictures and left the flat more spotless than we had left it for her! Will absolutely use again in the future, and thoroughly recommend her services, a joy to work with.”

"We have now used Liz as our dog sitter for two trips and we couldn’t be happier to have found someone so trustworthy & professional to look after our dog when we are away. We have a rescue dog with very complex health & behavioural needs who cannot stay in kennels or at other peoples homes, due to anxiety. Liz is very organised and detail orientated, taking the time to really get to know our dog and her needs before the sits. After sending an enquiry for a very last minute request to look after Harley, my 11 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Liz got back to me straight away and worked very hard to find a puppy sitter. When we leave our cats they depend totally on someone to feed them, clean their litter trays properly and provide care and consideration as if they were being looked after by us. Also it is vital that they are cared for by someone who can meet their individual needs. That the shy one is gently encouraged out to eat, as well as the social one being played with and having company. With Liz looking after our boys we can relax, as we know they are cared for really well. When away we get regular updates including photos so we can see what they get up to; we even have proof of Dushka eating out of her hands!

"We wanted someone to give our dog a walk when he is in the office in Chelsea. We were apprehensive as we had had a previous bad experience where it became apparent our dog was not walked but driven around in a van for the hour.
The minute we met Liz Horn, when she came to tell us about The Furry Dogmother, we felt totally reassured. You could immediately tell that she was passionate about giving our dog a proper walk (on his own), and adapting to his needs. He is an old dog and at times not that well. She gave us confidence, that she would be totally conscientious and reliable. And that is what she has proved to be. Phoenix is always slow to get to know people, we say he is discerning(!), but he has taken to the lovely gentleness and compassion of Liz. He always comes back from his walk smiling and happy! "Lola, my 8 year old Cocker Spaniel has fear aggression and consequently I needed someone who could offer one-to-one walks on lead.
